A Note from the Founder
Hello, my name is Michael Binggeli. I am a software engineer and cloud architect — but more importantly, a homeschooling father of eight children. My wife and I are first-generation homeschooling parents. I know firsthand the joys and struggles of homeschooling, especially with a large family. Homeschooling is not easy — but things worth doing aren't easy.
The demands placed on a homeschooling family can be overwhelming: juggling lessons, meals, laundry, the house, work, projects — on a normal day. Welcoming a new baby or dealing with illness can cause major setbacks in learning.
I built Teaching Tutors as a tool to help both my wife and my kids stay on top of their studies in any subject — not only on the normally hard days, but also on the extra-hard days, weeks, or months. I didn't want to keep seeing my children struggle in subjects such as Latin because they didn't know how to study, or because we didn't have time to review with them.
Teaching Tutors is a self-study platform that allows students to bring in all their lessons and type them in — which helps them learn! Then, Teaching Tutors helps them master their material in a fun, engaging way. All parents need to do is tell their child, “Go do your Teaching Tutors,” and the platform will handle the rest.
